A taste of local nature and history

Il Crotto restaurant was established in a place immersed in nature and with great historical importance in the area. Here you can admire buildings more than 180 years old, large and impressive, and visit important cultural and historical places. If you like you can walk along the famous footpath across the mountain leading from Lecco to Colico with its unique views. Next to the restaurant, before or after enjoying our gastronomic specialities, you can admire the beautiful Longobard castle of the village of Lierna or catch a glimpse of the famous Riva Bianca and Riva Nera.

The history of the Crotto di Lierna

We love our village and what all the surroundings have to offer. That's why all of our products come from here, where we were born and where our business was born. We carefully select the fresh ingredients that go into creating our delicious top-quality dishes, and prepare the food according to recipes of the Lombardy tradition. Our head chef Stefania uses these recipes adding her own secret ingredients according to family traditions, as taught to her by her grandmother.
